“Coach” is not (yet) a protected profession that has official quality standards. Nevertheless the German Coaching Association (Deutscher Coaching Verband - DCV) tries to close that gap by establishing quality standards, a certification process and a focus on ethical guidelines. The DCV supports coaches as well as coachees with all questions regarding the topic “coaching”.
